D.L. Forrest

Drawing equally from the folk traditions and DIY indie rock scenes of Philadelphia and Vancouver, 
D.L. Forrest folds Americana, indie rock, folk, and guitar pop into songs that feel lived-in. 
His recordings mirror the contrast of the live performance, shifting between restrained solo acoustic moments and scrappy, full band catharsis. The new songs zoom in on the tensions of everyday relationships, sit with collective grief in an increasingly fractured world, and find hope in the communities built around local live music, art, and activism.

D.L. Forrest is the solo project of Dan Forrest (Buddie, runner, Big Rig), 
with a live band featuring members of Vancouver indie outfit runner.
